		<description>Hi Vance,
My friend and client Dawn Ellinwood is the owner of Ubuntu Hair Studio, I was so happy to see the reference on your blog. Although Shuttleworth borrowed the name, Ubuntu goes back to an ancient African belief that can be summed up with "I am because we are". The Ubuntu Software was named for the concept as well and from what I understand is free, sharing knowledge and education is one of the key components.
My friend who opened the salon chose this for the name of her salon and has a deep love of the concept. She has a complete detail of what Ubuntu is on her web site. Who'd have thought a salon and a version of linux would share the same name! =)

Here is the website if you wanted to check out the philosophy in detail, http://ubuntuhairstudio.com/

Sincerely,
Charlene Abretske</description>
