Resolutions Progress Report

Here’s an update on the progress of my New Year’s Resolutions.

  1. Blog once a week – Fail. Didn’t post last week :(
  2. Draw with Wacom tablet once a week – Fail. Didn’t draw :(
  3. Learn 1 recipe per month – Success! I made Baked Ziti.
  4. Read 1 book per month – n/a Still have time :)
  5. Take a picture once a week – Fail. But I took one today.
  6. Exercise regularly – Success! Exercised 4 times last week.
  7. Be thoughtful - Fail. :(
  8. Be considerate – Fail. :(
  9. Be charitable (i.e. NPR donation) – Fail :(
  10. Pay for things I care about (i.e. music) – Success! Bought Ratatat’s LP3
  11. Budget – Success!
  12. Read more productivity, art, and design feeds – Fail. MacWorld and CES made me read too many Tech feeds.
  13. Drink tea – Fail. I’ve got about 100 teabags from Cost-co and haven’t had a single one yet.
  14. Take vitamins – Success!
  15. More sleep (7-8 hrs) - Fail. It’s hard to fall asleep so early!

So, counting that up, it’s 5 successes out of 15 goals. I should probably pare down the list a bit so as to not set myself up for failure. Even so, I am pleased with my progress.
