Howdy

Vance has over 10 years of experience designing beautiful websites based on web standards, with a keen focus on usability, performance, and WordPress. He has served as Lead Web Designer at UC San Diego’s Academic Computing and Media Services for over 4 years and has produced websites for over 50 campus departments and groups including the Department of Medicine, the Division of Biological Sciences, and the Wm. K. Warren Medical Research Center for Celiac Disease. Outside of UC San Diego, Vance is a freelance designer, creating websites for artists, innovators, and businesses such as the Ilan-Lael Foundation and Hubbell & Hubbell Architects. He co-founded and designed the website for JobGrades, a place for people to rate their workplace. Additionally, Vance is a user interface designer at Yummy Laser, an independent iPhone app company. Latest and greatest technologies aside, Vance’s work is ultimately about helping people tell stories – about their products, their causes, their passions.
